Classic Albums at eMusic

I made some great finds at eMusic the other day.

First of all, some of the very coolest Tony Bennett music of all time is available on Tony Bennett with Count Basie and his Orchestra. These ten songs are the best of those originally released on 1958's Basie Swings, Bennett Sings. It includes one of my favorites, With Plenty of Money and You. You may have heard that one on the soundtrack to Swingers.

Among the other great tracks are Jeepers Creepers, Are You Havin' Any Fun, Chicago and the Cole Porter classic Anything Goes.

In addition to that fine album, I also found an extensive collection from the undisputed master of the Hammond B3, Joey Defrancesco.

My pal, Joe Placido, first put me hip to Joey years ago and the single album I had (The Philadelphia Connection) has brought many hours of listening pleasure, so I was absolutely delighted to find no less than 15 of his albums on eMusic. I immediately snapped up four of the albums, including Joey Defrancesco Plays Sinatra His Way, which will be featured on the next Frank Truth - Frank Sinatra Podcast.

As mentioned many times on the show, I've found eMusic to be a fabulous way to build my library of Jazz, Swing and the Classics at the best prices anywhere. Regardless of your preferred style of music, there are over 3.5 million tracks available from all genres, and the catalog is growing every day.

If you take advantage of our special two-week eMusic free trial offer, you'll get 35 music downloads of your choice absolutely free and yours to keep regardless of whether you continue after the trial period. When you register with eMusic you will need to list valid credit card information, but as long as you cancel your subscription before the two weeks are up, you will be charged nothing. Even if you do continue beyond the trial period you can still cancel at any time thereafter, hassle-free. So this is an opportunity to get several albums worth of free music and try the service out to see whether you like it. My guess is that you'll be knocked out by the selection, the quality of the tracks, the ease of use and the cost.

Click here to get started with your free eMusic trial. Every subscription helps to support the programs from NOEBIE.COM, and as always I donate 1/4 of my earnings from the campaign to charity as well.

Please let me know how you like it if you do try it out.

Keep Swingin'!
